Blancatransfer are a band who were created, molded and maintained directly by modern technology. The three piece are from Limerick and Clonmel with a little Madrid in the mix too. The trio first met through MySpace leading to a gig in Spain and Blancatransfer continued from their disparate bases to send tracks back and forth by email and Soundcloud to see what would work. One result of this bandwidth partnership is Blancatransfer’s funky new track ‘Electric Light’. The song was recorded in Doppler Studios in Madrid and Blueroom Studios in Ireland, mixed by The Production Suite in Dublin and mastered by Richard Dowling in Limerick’s Wav Studios. See the band in Dolan’s on Thursday April 4 supporting Drea.

Great track, know some of the guys and are a hard working band. There music and sound is maturing and improving with every track. Electric light is the next installment and cant wait for more.
